The colourful history of this landmark building can be traced back as far as 1377. Formerly one of Salzburg´s oldest inns, it has been remodelled into a gem of a hotel. Here, in the most typical part of old Salzburg, amid all the world-famous sights, luxury and elegance combine to create an outstanding dimension of Austrian hospitality.

No two rooms of the hotel are alike; each was renovated and furnished with care and attention to detail. You will feel at home in each of our 49 luxurisously appointed rooms and 13 suites - offering either a view of the Salzach River and the Kapuziner Monastery, the romantic streets of the historical old town or the Fortress.

Classic rooms
In a space of 25 to 28 m2, our Classic rooms offer all the conveniences of a 5-star hotel.
All double rooms are available for single occupancy. All rooms are decorated with a love for detail. Bright marble bathrooms contribute to rooms' pleasant atmosphere.

Executive rooms
Our Executive rooms are very generous. Between 28-35 m2, their interiors are exclusive - offering either a view of the Salzach River and the Kapuziner Monastery, the romantic streets of the historical old town or the Fortress.

Suites
Suites are between 45 and 50 m2 and offer all the conveniences of a 5-star hotel. The luxurious rooms are decorated in traditional style and the bathrooms are made of bright marble

Located on the 1st floor, the "Symphonie" restaurant offers excellent service as well as international and Austrian cuisine, with something special available to cater for every taste. Whilst dining, you can enjoy a splendid view of the Salzach River and the Kapuzinerberg.

A delicious breakfast buffet is served in the restaurant between 06:30 and 10:30 each morning, providing you with a healthy start to the day.

Arrival by car from the A1 motorway (option 1):
- Exit the motorway for Salzburg Mitte, towards the city centre (Zentrum).
- Go across Lehener Brücke.
- At the 2nd junction after the bridge turn right into Schwarzstrasse.
- Go straight ahead to the next bridge and cross it.
- Immediately after the bridge turn left into Rudolfskai.
- The hotel is at number 28.

Arrival by car from the A1 motorway (option 2):
- Exit the motorway for Salzburg South.
- Take Alpenstrasse, towards the city centre (Zentrum).
- Go across Nonntalerbrücke and follow the one way traffic after the bridge left into Imbergstrasse.
- At the next bridge turn left across the bridge and left again after the bridge, into Rudolfskai.
- The hotel is located at number 28.

Arrival from the airport:
A taxi will take around 25 minutes and cost approximately EUR 15.

Arrival from the main station:
A taxi will take around 10 minutes and cost approximately EUR 10.
