The history of Posthotel Kassl reaches back to the 17th century. The oldest part is from 1605. Several historic lounges and rooms can be used by guests today to linger and relax.

Posthotel Kassl’s restaurant serves traditional cuisine of the highest quality. Half-board is included in the price and comprises a rich breakfast buffet with a tea bar and dinner with a choice of international and Austrian dishes.

Features in the 1,000 m² spa area include an indoor pool, a herbal sauna, a steam bath, an infrared cabin, a Kneipp basin, a Jacuzzi, a fitness room, and massages. The spacious relaxation rooms offer beautiful mountain views. You have direct access to several sun terraces and the sunbathing lawn in the garden.

In summer leisure options at the hotel include guided hiking tours, table tennis, squash, and mountain biking. Admission to the Oetz tennis centre (3 clay courts) is included in the price. Billiard, darts and tabletop football can be played at an extra charge.

The free ski bus stops right in front of Posthotel Kassl and takes you to all ski areas in the Ötz Valley, including Sölden and Kühtai.

There is also a free shuttle to the valley station of the cable car to the Hochoetz ski area.

The Ötztal Bahnhof train station is 5 km away from Oetz (regular bus connections). Direct bus connections from Innsbruck to Oetz three times a day.
