The Hotel Garni Austria is a cosy bed and breakfast with fabulous views in a quiet, yet central location, about 100 metres away from the main street and the Penken and Ahorn ski lifts.

We offer comfortably furnished rooms, apartments and studios (new: apartment for 4-6 people), a breakfast buffet, a traditional Tyrolean-style lounge used as a breakfast and common room, and a reception with tiled stove. There is also a ski and bike room, a south-facing orchard with deck chairs for sunbathing, a spacious car park and a children's playground. We speak English and French.

In summer time there is free entrance to the public swimming pools in Mayrhofen and Hippach for all our guests. During spring and summer we offer hiking weeks; please enquire at the hotel for details.

Starting from winter 2007/2008 the hotel offers wellness facilities with Finnish sauna, saunarium and an infra red cabin. Furthermore, guests will be able to make use of a fresh-air-room as well as relaxation room with loungers.

The property boasts excellent transport links. It is situated just 100 metres from Penkenbahn cable car and the bus stop and is in close proximity to the railway station. It is in a privileged location to visit both Ahornbahn and the Horbergbahn and to reach the main thoroughfare with its array of restaurants, bars and shopping facilities and indoor swimming pool.
