At the heart of the Ziller Valley, in the centre of Mayrhofen, you will find numerous fashion, jewellery and sports shops, coffee shops, restaurants, bars, pastry shops and lots of Tyrolean tradition. There is also a cinema and the “Europahaus”, an event centre which offers, especially during summer, Tyrolean evenings, music events, classical concerts, theatre performances and many other forms of entertainment.
Two cable car stations situated in the centre of Mayrhofen take you to 2,000 metres above sea level. More than 200 km of walking routes with different levels of difficulty await you, and passionate mountaineers will be able to climb to more than 3,000 metres.
A highlight for all nature enthusiasts is the 372 km² nature reserve “Hochgebirgspark Zillertaler Alpen”.
