Gasthof Mitteregger enjoys a central location in Kaprun, next to the stop of the free ski bus and close to the Maiskogel Ski Lifts. It offers free private parking and a spa area.

Typical Salzburg specialities and international cuisine are served in the Alpine-style restaurant. Guests can choose from an extensive menu which features regional delicacies, international cuisine and special vegetarian dishes.

In summer, you can enjoy your breakfast or dinner outdoors. Refreshing drinks are served on the sun terrace, and guests can relax in the 1,500 m² big garden overlooking the surrounding mountain range.

Free use of trekking bikes, mountain bikes, children’s bikes and bikes with children’s seats is offered.

All the spacious rooms at the Hotel Gasthof Mitteregger have a private bathroom and cable TV.

Spa facilities include a Finnish sauna, an herbal sauna, an infrared cabin, and a sun bed.

Guests can relax in the bathing pond and the bar offering views of the Kitzsteinhorn Mountain. A playground is also on site. A 30% on the day pass at the Zell am See-Kaprun Golf Course is offered.

From mid-May to mid-October, the Zell am See-Kaprun Card is included in the rate. This card entitles you to use many free services and discounts, including the use of cable cars.

With the wide range of function rooms in the hotel, we can organise all sorts of special events, such as wedding and birthday celebrations, as well as business meetings.

For the little ones, we offer a large playground with a swing and a slide, a sandbox, a children’s pool and a ping pong table. On the first floor there is a nice play room with different kinds of games and toys. From Monday to Thursday we offer a special children’s programme. On request we can also assist with anything a family with a baby would need, including baby crib, baby phone, baby chair or buggy. If you would like to enjoy a day by yourself, we can also arrange for a babysitter.

We offer complimentary use of a range of fantastic bicycles: trekking bikes, mountain bikes, children’s bikes, bikes with children’s seats.

Our individually decorated and comfortable rooms offer beautiful mountain views. Some of our rooms were decorated by the Austrian artist Hannes Forster.

The team in our kitchen is not just there for the pleasure of our hotel guests, but also to serve visitors to our restaurant from 11:00 to 22:00 daily. Choose from our extensive menu which features regional delicacies, international cuisine and special vegetarian dishes - whatever your heart desires. We also have special themed weeks such as "Röss'lwoche", "Bauernherbstwoche", and a week during the asparagus season.

We place special emphasis on the quality of the produce that we buy, so for example we offer beef from the Hohe Tauern national park region, veal from Kaprun calves, lamb from local farms, and dairy products from the Pinzgau region.

In summer, Kaprun offers countless sports and leisure opportunities. Hotel Gasthof Mitteregger is the principal hotel of the Zell am See Golf Course. Therefore we can offer our guests a 30% discount on a day pass. There are 6 golf courses within a 25-km radius.
