Situated on the sunny side of the Gail Valley, Landhaus Knura offers an outdoor swimming pool, a 3,000 m² garden and a spa area. Most rooms have private balconies.

Knura Landhaus is just a few minutes’ drive from Lake Pressegg and it offers a view of the Carnic Alps. The hotel offers a bike rental service and there are mountain biking and hiking trails in the immediate vicinity.

The restaurant serves a rich buffet breakfast, Austrian and Italian dishes, as well as traditional recipes from Carinthia.

The Millenium Express Cable Car to Nassfeld is a 10-minute drive away, but guests can also take the free ski bus, which stops near the hotel.

Our small spa oasis features a new sauna (choose between steam sauna or Finnish sauna), an infrared cabin and a Jacuzzi. After an active day you can arrange a relaxing massage at the reception.

Food & beverage

We served home-made specialities of the Austrian and Italian cuisines, as well as traditional Carinthian dishes such as the famous “Carinthian noodles”. The influences of the Italian, Friulian and Slovenian cuisines give our dishes a very special flavour. The menu is dominated by nature and the seasons. In the morning we offer a rich breakfast buffet, while for dinner you can choose from 2 menus and enjoy a salad buffet.

Area information

From spring to autumn, the Gail Valley offers many leisure activities in a beautiful natural landscape, from walking and hiking to mountaineering, cycling and swimming in clear Lake Pressegg.

Nearby Nassfeld is one of Austria’s top ten ski areas and can be reached with the Millennium Express (cable car, a 10-minute drive away from the hotel) or with the free ski bus (15 minutes).
