Alpen Adria Hotel & Spa is only 100 metres away from the shore of Lake Pressegg. It offers a large spa area, indoor and outdoor pools, and free parking.

Spa facilities include 6 saunas, an outdoor hot tub, an infrared cabin, a steam bath, a gym, a tea bar, and much more. Massages and beauty treatments are also available.

A children’s playground with a big trampoline, as well as beach volleyball and football grounds, can be found in the garden. For children, Alpen Adria Hotel feature a playroom with a climbing wall and many games, as well as a children’s cinema.

An adventure park is directly opposite the hotel. It offers many activities such as rafting and canyoning.

Half-board includes a rich breakfast buffet with homemade bread and a 4-course dinner with a choice of dishes and a salad buffet. A wide range of Italian and Austrian wines is available. Alpen Adria Hotel also has a bar and a wine lounge.

The Gailtal bicycle trail leads past the hotel. Bicycles are provided for guests’ use free of charge. The nearby Carnic and Gailtal Alps offer many hiking and mountain bike trails.

In winter, the Nassfeld Ski Area can be reached with a free shuttle bus. A free ski depot is located there. Ski passes are available at the reception.

Lake Pressegger is located only minutes from the hotel and Nassfeld - the ski arena of Carinthia - offers numerous ski and hiking possibilities nearby. The view from the hotel window gives an impression of the stunning landscape. There are 100 km of hiking paths from an altitude of 600 up to 2800 metres, as well as many running and nordic walking paths.

The First Carinthian Adventure Park, ideal for families with children, is within walking distance of the hotel. Guests can also go on a bicycle tour in the Gail valley or explore the area on mountain bike. For those who wish for even more adventure, there are gliding facilities at the airport of Nötsch or possibilities to go wild water rafting or canoeing.

Coming from Munic and Salzburg over Tauernhighway (A10)
or from coming from Vienna over the Southhighway (A21) in direction Italy -
take the exit "Hermagor" (around 5km befor the Italien border).
From now its just 15 min to Presseggersee! Drive in direction Hermagor and
leave the B111 after Förolach to Presseggersee. The Hotel is located 100m after
the "1. Kärntner Erlebnispark".

If you arrive from Direction Innsbruck - Switzerland, go over
Wörgl - Kitzbühel, Felbertauerntunnel - Lienz - Gailberg - Kötschach Mauthen
to Hermagor. From there its only 7 km to Presseggersee.
