Area information
Close to the hotel is the renaissance-style town hall where the charming ceramic chime is located. Here, on the town hall square, you can visit the vivid farmer’s market every Tuesday.
Furthermore, you can make a romantic boat trip on the lake Traunsee (especially in summer with the paddle steamer "Gisela") or you can take the historic Gmunden tramway and visit the world famous Gmundner Ceramic & Manufacturing factory.

You will reach us best via the public underground car park at the Esplanade. When you exit the underground car park
turn left towards the lake. You will reach the glass panorama lift that will take you to the panorama café where you can check in. Please contact the Schlosshotel Freisitz Roith in case that arrive later than 21:00. They will give you a code for the lift (until 22:00).
The hotel car park can be used is free of charge for 20 minutes. Please ask on reception for a discount on your parking tickets.
By Airplane:
Salzburg Airport W.A. Mozart or Blue Danube Airport Linz: approximately 70 km
Train:
Westbahn line Salzburg - Vienna (Number 100) via Attnang-Puchheim.
Arriving from Germany via Passau to Wels, change train in the direction of Attnang-Puchheim, connecting trains to the Salzkammergutbahn (Number 170) to the railway station Gmunden.
From Graz via Selzthal and Stainich Irdning to Gmunden railway station.
Car:
- A1 motorway Vienna - Salzburg, exit Steyrermühl or Regau. 7 km to the hotel
- From Germany via Passau on the motorway A8 till Wels North.
- Continue in the direction of Voralpenkreuz.
- Once there head in the direction of Salzburg on the A1 to the mentioned exits.

Important information
The easiest access to the hotel is via the public underground car park on the Esplanade. On leaving the car park, please turn left toward the lake and use the glass lift to get into the Panorama Restaurant. Guests arriving after 20:00 are kindly requested to inform the hotel in advance to receive the code for the lift. This can be noted in the Comments Box during booking or by contacting the hotel using the contact details found on the booking confirmation.
