Our family-friendly Hotel zur Post is located in the centre of Döbriach on Lake Millstatt, only 10 minutes away from the beach and the hotel’s own, 10,000 m² lido with play and sunbathing areas.

The newly renovated rooms are easily accessible with the new lift. Our new children’s paradise features a modern play area, a youth room with gaming consoles and play station, a children’s play room with crafts corner and crèche, and an adventure slide and a spiral staircase leading straight into the spacious outdoor playground. Child care is offered on 6 days a week (play room or playground).

The hotel also offers a guest laundry, a library, a 400-year-old wine cellar, a cosy fireplace lounge, a chestnut garden and a bar.

Our chef de cuisine creates a rich breakfast buffet in the morning. In the evening you can choose between different meals with a salad from the buffet. For lunch there are à la carte meals mainly from the Carinthian and Austrian cuisine. Of course there is a vegetarian cuisine as well. We serve a vegetarian meal every evening.

Culinary highlights include barbecue evenings at the beach, the original Carinthian farmers’ buffet and our Carinthian noodle dinner.

Döbriach is located near the eastern shore of Lake Millstatt, at the foot of the mystical Mirnock mountain, and is the gateway to the Nockberge National Park. Therefore, Döbriach is the ideal starting point for hikes and bicycle tours into the Nockberge mountains and around the lake (24 km). The surrounding area is ideal for climbing (Breitwand climbing garden).
