Arrival by car from the north on the A10 motorway:
- Exit Bischofshofen
- Continue on the B158 Salzachtal until the exit Gasteinertal and then drive to the Gasteiner Bundesstraße til Böckstein
-Turn right to Tauernschleuse/Sportgastein.

- Exit Mallnitz-Obervellach.Take the Bundesstrasse til Tauernschleuse .
- At Böckstein Bundesstrasse turn left to Sportgastein.
