Family-run for 5 generations, this hotel enjoys a beautiful and quiet location in the heart of the picturesque town of Bezau in the Bregenz Forest.

Hotel Post und Susanne Kaufmann SPA offers spacious and stylish rooms and suites in a modern design, an award-winning gourmet cuisine, and an exceptionally relaxing, extensive spa area.

There you will find an indoor pool, a sanarium, a steam bath, a garden sauna, a panoramic sauna, an outdoor Jacuzzi, and a beautiful roof terrace with a sun deck and a salt-water pool (heated all year). Fresh fruit, herbal tea and spring water are served there all day.

At the Susanne Kaufmann SPA you can enjoy a relaxing one-time treatment, an individually created day programme or a holistic spa week.

Hotel Post's rooms are equipped with soft bathrobes, slippers and toiletries by Susanne Kaufmann.

In the morning a breakfast buffet with specialities from local farmers and cheese makers awaits you. In the evening you will be pampered with a 7-course gourmet meal, prepared by the award-winning kitchen crew (2 toques by Gault Millau).

Afternoon snacks (between 15:00 and 17:00) and non-alcoholic drinks from the buffet (until 17:00) are included in the price.

Half-board is included in the price. Full-board is available at an additional cost and comprises a 2-course lunch and a 3-course dinner.

The use of the gym (with Technogym equipment) and various activities, such as Qi Gong, Nordic walking and tennis lessons according to the Tulot method are included in the price.

Mountain bikes (also for children), toboggans, hiking sticks and rucksacks are available for guests' use free of charge.

Room information

Light, airiness and bright colours characterise the rooms. The dominating materials are warm wood, leather and fine hand-woven linen from the Bregenz Forest. Many pieces of furniture were specially designed for the hotel by Oskar Leo Kaufmann and crafted by joiners, upholsterers and cabinet makers from the region - clear, simple and elegant. All rooms and suites have their own balcony and a bright bathroom.

Food & beverage

Treat yourself to a hearty breakfast, consisting of many specialities from local farmers and cheese makers. Guests that have booked half-board can enjoy a delicious 5-course gourmet dinner in the evening. Choose between traditional Austrian cuisine and international creations, including vegetarian dishes. The kitchen has been awarded 2 hoods by Gault Millau.

Area information

The village of Bezau, set amidst Bregenz Forest, is a well-known tourist destination for outdoor and culture enthusiasts. Visit the picturesque village church or marvel at the creations from local craftsmen. The area surrounding the hotel is ideal if you wish to explore numerous hiking trails or go skiing.

Travel information

Nearby train stations are Bregenz (25 km) and Dornbirn (17 km). Continue by bus to Bezau.
