Our beautiful south-facing apartment hotel offers many leisure opportunities. In addition to a wellness area with sauna, solarium, relaxation room and fitness room, there are two play rooms for children and teenagers.

In summer you can enjoy the sunbathing area or the terrace with its wonderful view of the Grimming. The Tauplitz Alp boasts a unique mountain panorama with 6 mountain lakes and a view of the Dachstein glacier.

Our snow-sure ski area's downhill runs end 200 metres from the hotel. In winter we offer a free transfer to the slopes.

You can choose between spacious double rooms and fully equipped apartments for 2 to 7 people. All rooms and apartments feature 1 or 2 bathrooms with shower and toilet (sometimes separately).

Every morning you can enjoy a fantastic breakfast buffet with an emphasis on freshness and quality. There is a choice of several cereals and juices, coffee, 16 sorts of tea, and much more.

From 16 May to 26 November:
For your 4-course dinner you can choose between different restaurants in the village, with which the hotel cooperates. All these restaurants serve delicious dishes, and one of them is only 150 metres from the hotel.

From 27 November until the end of the skiing season a 4-course dinner is served in the hotel restaurant, with its nice view of the mountains. Every day you can choose between several local and international dishes.

Summer:
Bad Mitterndorf offers many relaxing leisure and sports activities. In the spring there is the popular daffodil festival and in the fall the forests are colourful and stunning. There are many lakes that are ideal for swimming.

The Alp street to the Tauplitz Alp rises to 1600 metres above sea level and starts directly next to our hotel. The hotel offers a wonderful panorama view of Grimming, Totes Gebirge (dead mountains) and the glacier Dachstein.

Winter:
The ski run of our family ski area ends near our hotel which means that you can ski until our doorstep, if there is enough snow. Our hotel is a great location for ski holidays as it is in Bad Mitterndorf, in the ski area Tauplitz alp - one of the areas of Austria where snow can be guaranteed. The area can get up to 5 metres of snow and in March we normally still have around 3 metres snow.

The 200 km loipe in Bad Mitterndorf, Ausseerland, is ideal for cross-country skiing for all levels of ability. The loipe entry area starts only 200 metres from our hotel.

Shuttle buses operate from the airports at Vienna, Linz and Salzburg. Please send an inquiry with your booking so the hotel can make a reservation for you.

There are 2 train stations in Bad Mitterndorf. The Bad Mitterndorf station is a 10-minute walk from the hotel, while the Bad Heilbrunn station is a 20-minute walk away.
