Our holiday hotel is situated in the village of Auffach in the Wildschönau high valley, just 120 metres from the cable car to the Schatzberg ski resort.

In summer and in winter, our centrally located but quiet hotel is an ideal starting point for all activities in Wildschönau. The hotel features a large sauna and relax area, as well as a heated outdoor pool (open in summer), both of which are free to use for hotel guests. We offer comfortable rooms with balcony, an excellent restaurant, an elevator and plenty of parking.

Guests staying at Hotel Platzl receive the Wildschänauer Guest Cart free of charge. Card holders can use the regions cable cars free of charge, and have free access to the local swimming pool and Wildschönau's museums.

All our rooms are very spacious and furnished with plenty of wood. A hair dryer can be arranged upon request at the reception.

Area information

The romantic Wildschönau high valley is a hiking paradise in the heart of the Kitzbühel Alps. 180 km of well-groomed hiking trails lead up to 2,300 metres above sea level. A winter holiday in Wildschönau means 51 km of excellently groomed pistes of all levels of difficulty, up to 1,900 metres above sea level. 15 km of these are equipped with snow cannons and guarantee snow cover down to the valley on 100 days a year. There are excellent conditions for snowboarding, cross-country skiing and winter hiking as well.

Cancellation Policy:		Cancellation Policy: If cancelled up to 14 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged. If cancelled later, 50 percent of all nights will be charged. In case of no-show, the total price of the reservation will be charged. Children and Extra Bed Policy: All children are welcome. All children under 2 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding. All children from 3 to 7 years are charged 50 % of the room stay per night for extra beds. All children from 8 to 15 years are charged 70 % of the room stay per night for extra beds. Maximum capacity of extra beds/babycots in a room is 1. Deposit Policy: No deposit will be charged. VAT and city/tourist taxes: 10 % VAT is included. Service charge is not applicable. City/tourist tax is included. Internet: Wi-fi is available in public areas and is free of charge.
