The Magellan Sutera

Part of the luxurious Sutera Harbour Resort, The Magellan Sutera offers a 27-hole golf course, Olympic-sized and free-form pools, 14 dining options and 2 pampering spas.

The Magellan Sutera is located just 10-minutes away from Kota Kinabalu Airport. Getting to Kota Kinabalu Town will take a 5-minute drive from the hotel.

Decorated with wooden furnishings, the spacious air-conditioned rooms at Magellan Sutera feature large glass doors opening up to a private balcony. Each comes with a cable/satellite TV, minibar and a modern bathroom with bathtub.

Guests can exercise at the fitness centre, watch movies at the mini cinema or enjoy a game of bowling at the hotel's bowling alley. A private stretch of white sandy beach is also available for guests' usage.

Five Sails Restaurant serves a selection of breakfast and dinner buffets with unlimited flow of sparkling wine. Italian and seafood dishes are also available at the resort’s other restaurants.

Tarik's Lobby Lounge:
With a view of the pool and the South China Sea is this open-air lounge, ideal for a coffee during the day or a sunset cocktail at night. Featuring alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, a snack menu and nightly entertainment. Open daily from 06:00 to 23:00.

Five Sails:
Serving a sumptuous selection of breakfast and themed dinner buffets with unlimited flow of sparkling wine. On Sundays, Five Sails also offers the legendary Sparkling Sunday Brunch. Open daily from 06:00 to 23:00.

Ferdinand's:
Ferdinand’s has won awards not only for its outstanding Italian menu, but also the world renowned service provided. The delectable Italian and fusion menu is complemented by a range of carefully selected wines. Open from 18:30 to 22:30.

Al Fresco:
Al Fresco has a unique vantage point, sweeping from the swimming pool and landscaped gardens on the left, past all the islands dotting the horizon, to a glimpse of Kota Kinabalu on the right. Even with magnificent views and sunsets, the comprehensive Mediterranean menu cannot be overshadowed. An exciting cocktail menu supports an extensive selection of pasta and seafood dishes and the famous wood-fired pizzas. Open daily from 10:30 to 22:30.

The city has Mount Kinabalu as its backdrop, along with Manukan Island and the other islands of the Tunku Abdul Rahman Marina Park dotted about the coastline. The Sutera Harbour Resort, with its luxurious hotel accommodation, is the ideal base from which to explore Sabah.
