Kembara Resort

Kembara Resort is located within Kampung Ru Tapai, about 1 km from Merang Jetty. This nature resort provides basic rooms and dormitories with either fan or air conditioning.

Guests who stay in the dormitory room will have access to a shared bathroom. Other room types have a private bathroom with shower facilities.

Kembara Resort is 35 km from Kuala Terengganu Airport. Free parking is available.

The resort staff can organise activities such as morning exercise by the beach, jungle trekking and fishing. Shuttle services and further trips such as excursions to Lake Kenyir or Redang Island can be arranged by the tour desk.

For outdoor casual dining, the resort has barbecue facilities.

The hotel requires a 1-night deposit during school holiday periods, to be received at least 2 days before arrival. The booking will be cancelled otherwise. The hotel will contact guests directly with payment instructions.

The school holiday periods are as follows:
10-18 Mar 2012, 26 May - 10 Jun 2012, 18-26 Aug 2012 and 10 Nov 2012 - 1 Jan 2013.
