Segara Village Hotel

Designed to resemble a traditional Balinese village, this beachfront complex is comprised of 5 distinct areas, amidst 5 acres of tropical gardens.

Spacious thatched-roof bungalows and small, hotel-style room blocks are fitted with modern interiors, to blend traditional Balinese aspects with contemporary needs. A restaurant and bar are both housed within the complex to ensure you are never far from refreshment.

On-site leisure staff provide access to a varied range of water-sports equipment, as well as 3 outdoor swimming pools, private beach and a well-lit tennis court, allowing you to remain active. Alternatively, there is a range of massage therapies available for those who prefer to take things easy.

Keeping true to its unique Balinese village concept, each of the 5 distinct village areas have retained their original charm. The check-in is still welcoming and the 5 acres of tropical gardens continue to exude a feeling of spaciousness rarely found on other Sanur beach resorts. With 3 swimming pools and a pristine beach safe for swimming and water sports, ‘fun in the sun’ is the resort’s primary philosophy. The new beachfront swimming pool allows you to combine refreshing poolside relaxation with easy access to the resort’s private beach. While the central pool offers plentiful activities for the entire family, the deluxe village’s courtyard pool is ideal for those simply concentrating on quiet relaxation.

Segara Village, as the name suggests, is built and designed around the concept of a Balinese Village and comprises five distinct villages within the six hectare resort complex. Each village has its own unique layout and style. The decor in all rooms is contemporary with bright patches of color set against neutral tones, clean lines and a feeling a luxurious simplicity.

All rooms have garden views, except the deluxe rooms which offer pool views. Bungalows and cottages only feature interconnecting rooms.

One extra bed is allowed in all room categories.

The Beach:
This stylish new oceanfront restaurant sits directly next to the beachside swimming pool. It offers an excellent breakfast buffet and is the perfect place to watch Sanur’s famous sunrises. Signature international and Asian cuisine is served for lunch and dinner until 23:00 with a choice of indoor and outdoor dining spaces. Entertainment and cultural events are also featured on selected evenings.

A poolside snack menu is also available from 11:00 to 18:00.

Jacuzzi Bar:
Sip on outrageous cocktails or a chillingly cold beer, whilst soothing jets of refreshingly cool water relax your body and mind. The bar overlooks the 2 main swimming pools and the ocean. Open from 11:00 until 24:00.

Beach Lounge and Bar:
You can choose to keep cool and comfortable in the cosy, air conditioned lounge area, or watch the world go by at the oceanside bar. Seasonal tropical fruit drinks and exotic cocktails are the speciality of these drinking and entertainment venues.

Right in the centre of Bali's major tourist area, Sanur makes a good base for exploring the island, just a 30 minute drive from Ubud and 25 minutes from the airport. Quiet and relatively laid back, Sanur still has the feeling of old Bali. Fine hotels, water sport activities, restaurants, traditional drama and modern entertainment venues mingle with more traditional aspects. On a clear day, you can see Indonesia's highest mountain, Gunung Agung, from Sanur.
