The rooms feature private entrances and all of the rooms are non-smoking. Linen, bath towels and swimming towels are provided. Every room contains fresh flowers such as roses.

A buffet style breakfast is served on the patio outside the rooms. Wine is provided on arrival and is included in the price.

There are excellent restaurants in close proximity to the bed and breakfast. The town of Stellenbosch is 90 minutes from Hermanus which offers whale watching, 35 minutes from Franschhoek, one of South Africa's oldest towns and 20 minutes from the popular beach at Strand. There are 6 scenic golf courses in the vicinity, a strawberry farm a short distance away and museums and shopping centres nearby.

By Car:
From Cape Town and the airport:
- Take the N2 to Somerset West/George.
- Then take the Baden Powell turn off to Stellenbosch on the R310.
- Pass Spier and turn left into Vlottenburg Road, c/o Stellenbosch Hills Cellar.
- At the T-junction, turn right towards Stellenbosch and immediately left into Stellenbosch Kloof Road, c/o the small farm cafe.
- Travel 3 km, passing Overgaauw Wine Estate and Bonfoi Wine Estate.
- The next farm is Aan-den-Weg and the bed and breakfast is on the right.


From the N1:
- Take the R304 to Stellenbosch.
- Pass the Kayamandi Township and turn right into the R44.
- Pass Van der Stel Cricket Field on the left-hand side and turn right into the R310 towards Kuilsriver.
- Pass Stellenbosch railway station on the right.
- Pass Distell on the left-hand side.
- Do not take the R310 to the airport/Spier, but continue on the M12 passing the Asara and Neethlingshof wine estates.
- Turn right into Stellenbosch Kloof Road, c/o the small farm cafe.
- Then follow the instructions above

From George:
- Take the N2 to Cape Town.
- Take the R44 to Stellenbosch.
- Pass Stellenbosch golf course, the schools on the right-hand side and then turn left into Dorp Street.
- Turn left at the T-junction into the R310.
- Pass the Distell, Asara and Neethlingshof wine estates.
- Then follow the instructions above.
