This beautiful old Victorian house was built about 100 years ago. The tranquil garden with a small pool is the perfect place to relax in the sun. In summertime, breakfast will be served in the garden. In winter, it can be taken in the living kitchen, at the big table in front of the fireplace.

The wooden floors, ceilings, windows and doors have been lovingly restored to their original state. Non-smoking, spacious rooms are approximately 30 m², and are all individually designed, with en suite bathrooms. In each room there is a mini safe.

Breakfast is provided between 08.00 and 11.00 and consists of a full continental breakfast, which is served in the 'living kitchen' or the tranquil garden. All guests enjoy a communal breakfast.

The living kitchen, with its long breakfast table and beautiful view of the garden and pool offers the perfect place for socialising. African dinners or Braais (minimum 6 people) can be arranged with your hosts.

Its magnificent location between the ocean and the mountains has made Cape Town one of the most beautiful cities in the world. The Sweet Orange Guest House is situated in Sea Point, one of the most popular suburbs along the coast. Small shops, cafes and restaurants are all within walking distance.

The city, V&A Waterfront and beautiful beaches such as Clifton and Camps Bay are only minutes away by car. Just around the corner is the kilometre long beach front, which is hugely popular for walking, jogging or roller blading.

By Air:
Cape Town International Airport is only 25 km away. The guest house operates an airport shuttle service in their Oldtimer, probably the oldest car in Cape Town. Please request via email.

By Car:
From the airport:
- Take the N2 towards Cape Town / Waterfront.
- As soon as you enter the city, you will pass the traffic lights.
- At the 3rd set of traffic lights, turn right into Somerset Road.
- Somerset Road will continue into Main Road. When you enter Sea Point, after 3.5 km you will see a Total gas station on the left-hand side.
- Turn left into Bellevue Road and Sweet Orange is the first house on your left-hand side, painted in orange/white colors.
