On the 50 m² roof terrace you can enjoy sunbathing over the roofs of Sea Point. Refresh yourself in the heat under the outdoor shower, and relax whilst bathing in the jacuzzi with its majestic lion’s head watching over you.

Enjoy the full continental breakfast on the lower terrace and watch your breakfast being prepared. Arrive in style from the airport with the residence’s Old Timer car; an experience you will not forget.

In the 1930s, the guest house was the Police Station of Sea Point, but recent renovations have turned it into an accommodation facility.

The fireplaces on each floor fill the house with warmth in winter, and offer a cosy area for a glass of wine. Enjoy the comfortable lounges with leather couches and flat-screen TV, as well as the wireless internet access throughout the house and the terrace.

Enjoy the full continental breakfast on the lower terrace, or in front of the fireplace in winter.

All 4 rooms are individually furnished and uniquely designed with a personal touch. A mini-safe and TV are standard.

The TV lounge on the top floor offers a flat-screen TV with 20 different channels, and a fireplace.

The honesty bar is equipped with soft drinks, mineral water, ciders, beer, different South African wines and liquor.

Sea Point, one of the most popular suburbs along the Atlantic coast, offers small shops, cafes and restaurants, hairdressers, etc., all within a reasonable distance.

The city, the V&A Waterfront and the beautiful beaches of Clifton and Camps Bay are only minutes away by car. Just around the corner is the kilometre long beachfront, which is hugely popular for walking or jogging.

By Air:
Cape Town International Airport is only 25 km away. The guest house operates an airport shuttle service in their Oldtimer, probably the oldest car in Cape Town. Please request via email.

By Car:
From the airport:
- Take the N2 towards Cape Town / Waterfront.
- As soon as you enter the city, you will pass the traffic lights. At the 5th traffic light, turn right into Strand Street. Strand Street will continue into High Level Road.
- When you enter Sea Point, after approximately 4 km, look out for Barkly Road, (cul de sac) on the left-hand side.
- Turn left into Barkly Road, and Sweet Ocean View Guesthouse is the 3rd house on your left-hand side. It is a 2-storey mansion painted in turquoise colours.
