This beautiful old Townhouse was built about 100 years ago. The back yard with a small pool in front of the Garden Cottage is the perfect place to relax in the sun. In summertime, breakfast will be served outside by the pool. In winter, it can be taken in the breakfast loung, at the big table underneath the handcraft "Cuttlery-Chandelier" and the wine racks.

Every corner of the house is individually decorated; our appreciation of graphic art and the postmodern inspired the decorating of the house. The wooden floors, ceilings, windows and doors have been lovingly restored. All our rooms are Non-smoking and with individually designed en suite bathroom. In each room there is a mini safe.

Breakfast is provided between 08.00 and 11.00 and consists of a full continental breakfast, which is served in the breakfast lounge or the tranquil backyard. All guests enjoy a communal breakfast.

Its magnificent location between the ocean and the mountains has made Cape Town one of the most beautiful cities in the world. The Sweet Lemon Boutique Bed & Breakfast is situated in Sea Point, one of the most popular suburbs along the coast. Small shops, cafes and restaurnts are all within walking distance.

The city, V&A Waterfront and the beautiful beaches such as Clifton & Camps Bay are only minutes away by car. Just around the corner is the kilometre long beach front, which is hugely popular for walkin, jogging or roller blading.

From the airport you take the N2 direction Cape Town / Waterfront. As soon as you enter the city, you will pass the traffic lights; at the 4th robot turn right into Strand Street, which will continue into High Level Rd. After 3.5 kilometers you turn right into Albany Rd. and right again into Bertram Road (Cul du Sac). Sweet Lemon is on you left hand side, painted in light greenish color.

You arrive in Cape Town - Day or Night - after 12 or more hours of an international flight without "Jet Leg". Your vacation starts right here!Your personal driver awaits you at your Terminal. He will be driving an "Old timer", which is probably one of the oldest car in Cape Town

The Driver will provide you with luggage service and a "Welcome Drink" on arrival at the guesthouse.. We can organize to have your rental car waiting at the guesthouse, which saves unnecessary complications (i.e. queuing at the airport, filling in forms, etc.) at the airport.
