Area information
Illyria House is close to a number of well-known sights. Travel on the world-famous Blou Trein, a train service between Cape Town and Johannesburg, and follow in the steps of (former) kings and presidents. Train enthusiasts can also appreciate the luxury of the Rovos Rail. The Union Building, official seat of the South African government, is only a short drive from the mansion.

R21 towards Pretoria direction North. As you approach Pretoria and after travelling approximately 46 km you will have crossed three traffic lights. At the fountain circle, turn right at the next traffic light into the M7, George Storrar Drive, towards Brooklyn. First traffic light after circle, turn left into Leyds Street. To your right will be the S.A Bureau of Standards. To your left will be the university of Pretoria Groenkloof Campus. Atop the hill at the crossing. Turn right into Bourke Street. Third House on the left is number 327.

Deposit Policy: 50 percent of the total amount will be charged on the day of booking and is non-refundable. VAT and city/tourist taxes: 14 % VAT is included. Service charge is not applicable. 1.00 % city/tourist tax per person per night is not included. Internet: Wi-fi is available in public areas and is free of charge. Wi-fi is available in the hotel rooms and is free of charge. Meal Plan: Breakfast is included in the room rate. Parking: Free private parking is possible on site (reservation is not needed).
