Hlangana Lodge

Situated on the outskirts of Oudtshoorn, this is a 4-star Victorian guest house, offering a pleasant and relaxing atmosphere while you are treated to the highest standards and services.

The lodge is perfectly situated to serve as a haven from where one can explore Oudtshoorn and the surrounding countryside. You can enjoy the spectacular Karoo sunset from the landscaped garden or enjoy a drink in the tastefully decorated lounge. Sit back and relax in a deckchair next to the salt water swimming pool, or admire the skilfully-crafted woodwork on the veranda.

For our more active guests, there is a well-equipped gym room with facilities for a complete work-out.

Breakfast is served in our sunny breakfast room or outside on the patio between 07:00 and 10:00. Light meals and snacks are also available outside these hours.

Hlangana Lodge is within walking distance of some of Oudtshoorn’s award-winning restaurants where you will find outstanding regional cuisine.

By Car:
- From Cape Town, you will be entering Oudtshoorn via Voortrekker Road.
- At the 3rd traffic light, turn left into Baron van Reede Street (the main road).
- Cross 2 traffic lights.
- Keep on driving until you get to the Hlangana Lodge, situated on the corner of Baron van Reede Street and North Street, on the way to the Cango Caves.

- From George, you will be entering Oudtshoorn via Langenhoven Road.
- Langenhoven Road becomes Baron van Reede Road (the main road).
- Cross 2 traffic lights.
- Keep on driving until you get to the Hlangana Lodge, situated on the corner of Baron van Reede Street and North Street, on the way to the Cango Caves.
