A self proclaimed “place of rest” in the heart of the Garden Route, this lodge is nestled between the town of Knysna and the famous Knysna Heads.

The staff will endeavour to ensure that the hotel features a relaxing atmosphere. With its tranquil, indigenous parkland setting, here you can escape from the hustle and bustle, so much so it is difficult to imagine that you are only 5 minutes from the centre of town.

Yet, the location allows for easy access to the many attractions in the area, from playing golf at one of the many world-class courses, to dining out, or if you are feeling adventurous, hiking on one of the many trails in the area. The range of activities is extensive. The lodge also offers a delectable “tree-top” breakfast, a sparkling, rim-flow swimming pool and your own private entrance and balcony.

The lodge houses 5 beautifully finished and comfortable rooms. There are 3 twin rooms with en suite showers, one double room with an en suite shower and one double room with a full en suite bathroom. All of the rooms include a private balcony overlooking the garden and sparkling pool. Guests are welcome to use the communal kitchenette in the utility room.

We are in close proximity to the centre of town, fine restaurants, the Knysna Heads, world-class golf courses, a bird sanctuary, hiking trails, beautiful beaches, the elephant park and monkey world.

By Car:
- On the eastern side of town, turn off the N2 into George Rex Drive which leads to the Heads and Leisure Isle.
- Follow this road for 2.4 km then turn left into Howard St. with the golf course now on the right.
- Follow this road, then take the 1st left into Hunters Estate Drive and turn immediately right into Lindsay Street.
- The lodge is 300 metres further along on the right.
