Le Marais is an intimate guest house where the elegance of Paris meets the charm of Africa, in the small fishing village of Hout Bay, 20 minutes from Cape Town.

Having opened after renovation in August 2008, Le Marais offers 4 suites and an apartment, all decorated in slick, minimalist, yet warm style with a red theme.

Relax with a glass of wine in the stylish lounge or enjoy the solar-heated pool. The house is a replica of traditional Cape Dutch architecture with a thatched roof. It is situated in a secure area, with wonderful views of the rear of Table Mountain.

Hout Bay, surrounded by magnificent landscape, is one of the top big wave surfing spots in the world.

From Cape Town International Airport:
▪ Follow the N2 towards Cape Town, turn right toward Muizenberg (M3), then turn right at traffic light (M63) towards Hout bay.
▪ Follow the M63, about 2.5 km after Constantia Nek, turn left (just before Oakurst Farm Stall, a small shopping center with a Kwikspar), and follow the road up to a cul-de-sac (about 300m).
▪ Le Marais Guest House is the first house on the right.

Cancellation Policy:   Cancellation Policy: Please note, if cancelled, 15 percent of all nights will be charged.
If cancelled up to 21 days before date of arrival, 25 percent of all nights will be charged.
If cancelled up to 14 days before date of arrival, 37.5 percent of all nights will be charged.
If cancelled later or in case of no-show, 50 percent of all nights will be charged.

Children and Extra Bed Policy: All children are welcome.
All children under 12 years are charged ZAR 250 per night per person for extra beds.
Maximum capacity of extra beds in a room is 1.
There is no capacity for cots in the room.

Deposit Policy: 50 percent of the total amount will be charged on the day of booking and is refundable.

VAT and city/tourist taxes: 14 % VAT is included.
Service charge is not applicable.
1 % city/tourist tax per person per night is included.

Internet: Wi-fi is available in the entire hotel and is free of charge.
