Kurhula Wildlife Lodge

Situated on the banks of the Olifants River, in Balule Nature Reserve, this lodge offers spacious rooms with a veranda overlooking Olifants River. Kurhula Wildlife features an outdoor pool, barbecue facilities and free Wi-Fi.

Kurhula Wildlife Lodge has elegantly decorated rooms with tiled floors and mosquito nets. Each of the air-conditioned rooms has a wardrobe, a work desk and a private bathroom with a hairdryer.

Guests can start their day with a rich breakfast served on the veranda of the main lodge. At night, the property serves an African three course meal with a European touch. Lunch and special diet menus are available on request.

Kurhula Lodge is 50 km away from Kruger National Park, the biggest and oldest wildlife park in the world.

You can enjoy game drives and bush walks in the reserve under the guidance of an experienced ranger. Nearby activities include bird watching and elephant back safari.

- On the R40 from Hoedspruit towards Phalaborwa, you will cross the Olifants river.
- Continue to drive for several kilometres until you will go passed Mica village. - After that you will find on your right hand side a petrol station which is called "Sameys".
- Then follow the road until you reach the turnoff to Tzaneen, but keep going straight towards Phalaborwa.
- After about 700 meters, you will find on the right hand site the entrance to Parsons Nature Reserve.
- A dirt road will take you after 5 kilometres to the security gate of Parsons Nature Reserve.
- After this gate you will have to travel another 7 kilometres to Kurhula Lodge.
- Please note that it is plot number 25.
