Gordon's Bay and its surrounding area offer a variety of sights, activities and attractions. For those of you who enjoy the beauty of the mountains, there are several biking and hiking trails in the area.

If you want to practice your swing, you have 3 18-hole golf courses to choose from within a short drive from the Blue Horizon Guest House.

Take a cruise and get the opportunity to view the Southern Right whales as they visit our coastline from July till December to nurture their young. A 20 minute drive will take you into the heart of the Stellenbosch wine lands, where you can savour the various wines that South Africa is famous for.

An airport shuttle can be arranged in advance, from Cape Town Airport to the Blue Horizon Guest House.

By Car:
From Cape Town Airport:
- Take the N2 motorway in the direction of Somerset West (about 25 minutes).
- Turn right at the Gordon’s Bay exit.
- Follow Sir Lowry's Pass Road and just before the T-junction (going to Rooi Els/Strand), turn left into Boundary Road (listed under Grens Weg on the Western Cape map).
- Continue straight up Boundary Road to the top. The guest house is the cocoa coloured building on the right (number 56).
