This residence is ideally placed in the heart of the picturesque village of Gordon's Bay, an attractive bay which is used as a small craft harbour, where luxury yachts and cabin cruisers bob in tightly packed lines. With its many outdoor cafes and restaurants, the Mediterranean atmosphere of Gordon's Bay is popular with holidaymakers. All of these are a short stroll along the beach from our door.

The white sandy beaches make it a chosen destination for bathing and water sports. The hotel is a 2 minute walk from the well-known Bikini Beach, a particular favourite with sunbathers because the harbour wall shelters it from most winds.

There are so many attractions within easy reach and the following are merely a few of them. There are nature reserves and botanical gardens a 5 to 20 minute drive away, the whale route is a 5 to 40 minute drive away, the wine estates are a 10 minute drive, the golf estates are between 10 to 40 minutes away, Cape Town city centre and the V&A Waterfront are a 40 minute drive away, Stellenbosch is 30 minutes, Somerset Mall shopping centre is 10 minutes away and Cape Town international airport is a 30 minute drive from the hotel.

By Car:
From Cape Town:
- Proceed east along the N2 towards Somerset West.
- Pass the airport on the left and continue on the N2.
- Pass through 5 traffic lights and follow the N2 towards Grabouw.
- Pass a Shell filling station on the right-hand side; you are now fairly close to the turn off.
- Turn right at the large sign with an arrow right to Gordons Bay/Kleinmond.
- On a smaller road, the M165s, continue for approximately 4 km until you reach the intersection at Faure Marine Drive, R44.
- Take your time at this intersection as it can be a little tricky here.
- Proceed straight over the junction, as if going towards the Leapfrog Estate Agency office.
- Swing left into Watt Street.
- Turn immediately right at Van der Byl Street.
- Turn left at the T-junction by the Sunset Spur on the beach front, this is Beach Road.
- Wind your way along for almost 1 km.
- You will see Hahn Rd on your left with our sign Berg en Zee.
