All the rooms at George Lodge International have been individually decorated in different styles and colour themes, with cottage furniture in natural wood and soft furnishings in elegant fabrics. Rooms are carpeted for comfort and have many personal touches. Some of the rooms have balconies or open onto small patios. All are airy, light and spacious.
Each room is equipped with tea and coffee making facilities, a landline telephone with Internet access, extra blankets, a heater and fan, as well as a television with satellite TV including M-Net and some DStv channels.

George is the largest of the many quaint towns on South Africas Garden Route coast, one of the most scenic stretches of coastline in the world. With its numerous lakes and mountain ranges, beaches and bays, the landscape also features indigenous forests, amber-coloured rivers and fields of fynbos (the indigenous vegetation). This natural wonderland boasts many bird and wildlife species and offers visitors a host of leisure options and adventure activities.
We are within easy driving distance of Wilderness, Knysna and Plettenberg Bay, as well as the villages and towns along Cape Route 62, including Bonnievale, Robertson, Calitzdorp and Oudtshoorn.

Travel information
Entrance via Outeniqua Pass:
Go pass the golf course up to the traffic circle. The rugby stadium will be on your right. Take the first left turn into Davidson Road. We are at the top of Davidson Road on the left.
Entrance via Cape Town/ Airport:
Take the York Street turn off (main road of George ) carry on up to the traffic circle at the top of York Street across from the museum. Turn left into traffic circle, first road to left, second building on the right.

Enter George at the Garden Route Mall just carry straight on with road, which is Knysna Road, it then becomes Courtenay Street and at the traffic circle it becomes Davidson Road, take that turn off in the circle, second building on right.

Since reception closes at 21.00, guests arriving late must inform the hotel ahead of time to ensure alternative check-in arrangements.

Children and Extra Bed Policy: All children are welcome. All children under 3 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding. Maximum capacity of extra beds in a room is 3. Deposit Policy: 50 percent of the total amount will be charged on the day of booking and is partially refundable. Internet: Wired internet is available in the hotel rooms and charges are applicable. Meal Plan: Breakfast is included in the room rate.
