Tides Restaurant boasts interesting and innovative cuisine in relaxed, contemporary surroundings. Breakfast is served from 07:00 to 11:00 on weekdays and from 07:00 to 12:00 on weekends. Dinner is available every night from 19:00- 22:30.
Sandy B is a beach-style cocktail bar, offering the perfect setting for relaxed pre-or post-dinner drinks. The bar is open from 11:00 until late.
Traders Cigar Bar provides the finest champagne, cognac, cigars and South African wines and is open from 17:00 until late.

Area information
The Bay Hotel is situated on Camps Bay beach, between the majestic Twelve Apostles mountain range and the azure Atlantic Ocean. The hotel is just ten minutes from Cape Town’s city centre and many other tourist attractions. Camps Bay itself boasts many restaurants, bars, shops and fashionable nightspots, all within walking distance of the hotel.

The hotel offers chauffeur-driven transfers to any destination in Cape Town, in a luxurious Mercedes- Benz S500 or in a spacious VW 7-seater van (please enquire for rates)
By Air:
The hotel operates a transfer service from the airport. A transfer from Cape Town International Airport to the Bay Hotel will cost ZAR 300 one-way, for a maximum of 2 people. For more than 2 people, an additional ZAR 50 per person will be charged for a one-way transfer (up to a maximum of 7 people).
By Car (from Cape Town International Airport):
- Take the N2 motorway, following signs for Cape Town.
- Continue on the N2 for about 20 minutes until you reach the mountains and the city beyond.
- You will drive up a long hill with a large cream building on your right (which is Groote Schuur Hospital).
-At the top of the hill, the road divides into Eastern Boulevard (N2) (three lanes to the right) and De Waal Drive (two lanes to the left).
- Turn right onto the Eastern Boulevard, following the signs for Eastern Boulevard (N2).
- Continue on this road until you reach a set of traffic lights. You will see the entrance to the Victoria & Alfred Waterfront complex on your right and The Cape Town Convention Centre on your left.
- Do not turn into the Waterfront, but continue straight to the next set of traffic lights.
- At the traffic lights, you will see the Cullinan Hotel and the Holiday Inn on your left.
- Continue straight up this road, which becomes Buitengracht Road.
- Follow Buitengracht Road through Cape Town and up the hill until it becomes Kloof Nek Road. You will see signs that indicate the Table Mountain Cableway is further up the road.
- Continue past the turn off for the Cable Way, following signs for Camps Bay.
- Drive along the top of the hill (the mountain is called Kloof Nek) until you see a turn off for Geneva Drive.
- Follow this winding road down the hill until you reach the beachfront.
- Turn left at the traffic lights.
- The Bay Hotel is situated on your right.
