All our rooms offer the facilities you would expect from a 4 star Hotel such as en-suite bathroom, TV with satellite channels, tea and coffee making facilities, hairdryer, safe and mini bar fridge.
The prestige rooms are larger in size with a dedicated work desk designed to suit the needs of the corporate traveller. A mini kitchenette with limited cutlery and crockery is also available in all prestige rooms.

Based on the concept of an old-fashioned butcher-style grill house, the Local Grill offers grain-fed beef and free-range beef from the Midlands. All beef is aged on the premises and, upon request, can be cut to order, seasoned and perfectly grilled.

From cappuchinos and breakfast in minutes. Tazza Caffé offers a relaxed environment where visitors can meet for a glass of wine and a light meal, whilst watching the planes go by.

- Arriving at OR Tambo International Airport, follow the R21 Highway in
the direction of Boksburg.
- Pass the Emperor’s Palace and Griffiths Road turn-offs.
- Take the (N12) Witbank turn-off, followed by the Rondebult turn-off.
- Turn left at the traffic lights and cross over the motorway.
- Turn left onto North Rand Road at the 2nd set of traffic lights.
- Follow North Rand Road and at the 2nd set of traffic lights turn left
again, onto First Road.
- Turn right onto Viewpoint Road at the stop street.
- The entrance of the hotel is after 200 metres, on your right-hand side.
- Coming from Pretoria/Sandton, pass Midrand on the N1.
- Take the N3 (Germiston/Durban) motorway.
- Pass the Marlboro, London Road, Modderfontein and Linksfield
turn-offs.
- At Gilooly’s Interchange, take the N12 in the direction of Witbank/OR
Tambo Airport.
- Continue on the N12, direction of Witbank.
- Pass the Edenvale, Kraft Rd and Jet Park turn-offs.
- Take the split in the direction of Boksburg (R21).

Birchwood also provides a welcoming home away from home for airline passengers requiring a convenient overnight stay. A complimentary hourly shuttle is available for guest convenience.
The Birchwood Shuttle can be found outside terminal 2A, International arrivals at the designated Hotel “pick up” and “drop off” point situated outside the terminal buildings opposite the Airport Inter-Continental Hotel. The shuttles leave from the airport for the Hotel every 10 past the hour on the hour.
